I saw an American Robin today for the first time. It was so fascinating to see them scouring in our backyard looking for food. I was in the living room when I saw the Robins. I was surprised to see all these birds out there and wondered what they were doing. My husband told me they're American Robin birds and they are looking for worms and beetle grubs to eat. The name Robin means songbird to me, birds that I only hear and see in books and movies before so seeing them for real was something I'm happy about. Also the fact that they have these pretty little blue eggs makes me excited for spring to come.
