The moon tonight is said to be 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than it normally appears. It should be a wonderful sight to see but I'll be at work that time so I'll see how it appears when I get home. The "Supermoon" as they call it, is going to be 356,575 kilometers or 221, 565 miles away from the earth. This is said to be the closest the moon is to the earth since March 1993.
