Botched Trip

We set out on a trip to the Crystal River Springs to see a Manatee. A Manatee is nearly similar to the "Dugong" in the Philippines with only a few differences. But we weren't able to see one, or I wasn't able to see one since we got lost and missed a turn to the Crystal River. It wasn't a well planned trip, it was more of a spur-of-the-moment one so everything was done in a rush. Husband went to get the directions and since he has been there before, we didn't really think we would miss it. But miss it we did. One mistake we did was we set out a few hours before dark and another was we didn't pay much attention because we were talking. So after  passing four counties, being on the road for two hours, and the day getting dark. We realized we definitely had missed our turn and decided to just head back before it got dark.

But even if we didn't see a Manatee on our trip, we were able to see a beautiful peacock when we stopped for a few minutes at Weeki Wachee Springs.
