We went to Sunset beach a few days ago. It's a nice small beach near St. Pete's beach. There was a sunset beach wedding about to start while we were there. Sunset beach is a pretty nice beach with white sand. Almost all the beaches I had visited so far in this part of florida has white sand. I like the white sand better than darker ones. The only thing I miss on beaches here are coconut trees near the water. The beaches here are wide and open, you can see palm trees but they are often far away from where the water is. So you can't have shade unless you have a beach umbrella. And it is blazing hot here, so a hat, sunglasses and a beach umbrella are things that you must have specially when you are on the beach.
